Where in Google Analytics can I find the report showing traffic increases over the past 2 weeks?

The best place to start looking for the cause of a traffic spike would be your channels and source/medium reports. Once find out where your traffic is coming from (organic, referrals, social etc.), you can start to drill down a little deeper and look for a specific cause.
