What is event tracking?

Event tracking is how you measure user activity that happens within your web pages. Events include user interactions such as page scrolling, video views, filling out forms, button clicks, etc.

Google Analytics provides event tracking reports inside their user interface to help track this activity.

Google Tag Manager (GTM) simplifies setting up event tracking and reporting your event data to Google Analytics.

Our Google Tag Manager Course will teach you how to set-up, and use the most common types of event tracking.
